WalkingPad was launched by a team of postgraduates and doctoral students from the University of Science and Technology of China. Inspired by their lack of time for traditional exercise while under academic pressure, they built a compact, foldable treadmill that fits under desks or sofas. Their mission: “help more people fall in love with sports and healthy life” by offering light, accessible home workouts.
